ATOs can only apply to CITB to deliver these courses if they have obtained approval to do so by LCI-UK.

Train the Trainer 1

On completion of this part of the training participants will be able to:

  • Identify and select opportunities for Lean improvement
  • Engage key stakeholders and communicate the benefits of Lean to make it happen
  • Organise the practicalities of what needs to be done logistically – getting permissions for access and arranging site walks.

Train the Trainer 2

On completion of this part of the training participants will be able to:

  • Improve their presentation skills as well communications, listening and questioning skills 
  • Encourage participation and engagement from others for the implementation of an improvement project
  • Deal with difficult team members, keeping it positive.

Train the Trainer 3

On completion of this part of the training participants will be able to:

  • Set meaningful, SMART metrics, KPIs and targets for an improvement project
  • Set realistic expectations for an improvement project
  • Impart knowledge and enthuse others, following up with coaching as appropriate
  • Gather, assess and communicate lessons learnt.
