Built Environment Sustainability Training (BEST) will offer a strategy for tailored, relevant, sustainability-focused training to the existing Built Environment Workforce of Wales.

Joint Investment Strategy: Construction Futures Wales (CFW)
Joint Investment Strategy: Construction Futures Wales (CFW) is a unique and fully funded initiative by Welsh Government and the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), offering the Welsh construction industry the support that it needs to grow. CFW will help businesses to evaluate and benchmark their current performance and provide expert support, tailored to their business, to help them grow, increase productivity and competitiveness and achieve future business success. All of the support is available through 1-2-1 business support, Leadership & Management qualifications, events, workshops, and sourcing. Construction Futures Wales offers targeted support for construction companies focussing on support issues that uniquely and directly affect the sector.
General business support such as business start-up, marketing, HR or accountancy advice can be accessed through the Welsh Government Business Wales service.
WEST Energy Sector Training
WEST Energy Sector Training aims to develop the skills to aid the utilisation and uptake of new technologies developed through the Low Carbon Research Institute (LCRI) industrial research projects.

National Skills Academy for Construction, (NSAfC)
National Skills Academy for Construction, (NSAfC) is a unique partnership-based training model for the industry which enables training at all levels to be delivered on a local basis. The model offers great potential to translate the Welsh Government’s capital investment programme into a far-reaching legacy in terms of people, skills, and communities and is already beginning to make a difference on the ground in Blaenau Gwent with the dualling of the A465 Heads of the Valleys road between Tredegar and Brynmawr.

Sector Priority Fund Apprenticeships and Qualifications
This project will pilot training and development qualifications to ensure that the Welsh construction workforce is equipped to take forward employment opportunities which are currently forecast.

Sector Priority Fund Green Skills
The programme will build on the pilot 'Delivering Low Carbon Skills'(DLCS)programme. The main objective is to develop the capacity of companies so that they are better able to compete in the green economy and create sustainability and growth for their business.
